Looks good!! And I've never seen one that color before, which make it that much cooler! What about some black lettering in the "camaro" on the panel? I like the bowtie, too. Good job.

Yea I was thinkin that to, it will look better clear coated.
I went with this color because I already painted my z28 emblems and interior with that color.
EDIT: The camaro lettering, and the emblem will bring the color tone down, well at least I think it would... we will find out soon enough...

Spud, when you finish up the rear panel could you take some more pictures? Could you take some 'perspective' shots? I mean to say, give us 7 or so feet back with a sort of side-rear shot of the car.
Looks good! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Of course, I will have a better camarea when I take them to, by the end of the weekend I should have them up and on!
I'll get in a parking lot to to make it that mcuh more better around oneish!!! Lol.
I really wanted it to be done before SLP day, but I ran out of paint the night before, I was preety upset. SLP day made up for that tho, what a great day it was.

Re: PICS OF MY BERGER PANEL, INTERIOR, ETC!!!!!
Yea alot of peeps at ls1.com, are telling me they like the black panel more, or go with the gun metallic color, BUT I LOVE THIS, and I get tired of things first so I might or might not change it in the future, but for now it stays it badass.
Soon the lettering and emblem gets done... yay.
BTW: The flat black color on the black is alright in imo, it's just to much like a regular one.
Oh and This silver is close to the stock GM silver, so I mean I could go get a stock silver back panel and you could see the exact same thing, lol, I don't know, I like it...
Lol

Couple of things here. I give you major props on
your originality. But with just the pics so far,
well lets just say I'll wait to give you my opinion
until you get some more "perspective" shots.
OK, second. You say you will be getting a better
camera soon. Are you using a digital camera? IF
you flip the flash on ( if it has one ) even if
there is plenty of light outside, you may get better
shots with what you have. I learned this the hard
way on mine. With the flash on, the shutter speed
on mine can range from 1/2 a second to 1/1500 second.
With no flash, only 1/2, and poor pics. And as Mike
said, take some 3/4 rear shots or so. I wanna see
the whole side along with the back. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Hope that doesn't sound like I'm preaching on the camera.
I got mine for x-mas and just learned this a couple weeks
ago. Funny what you can learn by reading the manual. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

Re: PICS OF MY BERGER PANEL, INTERIOR, ETC!!!!!
Gotta give you respect for doin something original, but its not something i'd do to my personal vehicle. Maybe im w/ everyone else, if the silver were a lil darker, or the camaro was filled in, it'd be nice. But i'd rather have just the plain ole stock color'd panel w/ filled Camaro, but hey, its your ride, do whatever you want.
Maybe toss on an SS spoiler, and for god sakes man, broadcast that Chevy logo!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> all in all, its a nice, unique style to your car.

The car looks great except for the back panel. Sorry, that looks terrible. I'm all for the different color back panel (I've done it on mine) but the reverse colors don't look good. It looks like you stuck something on from the junkyard that didn't match like people I see with a green car with a white hood from a junkyard for instance. I love the rest of your car though.

I was watiing for the junkyard comment lol.
Sinces its raining no finishing it today.
Im gunna see how I like it when I am done, If I don't then I'm gunna go with a dark gray, really dark.
The clear coat, and badges, and lettering will make it look better, plus I will get shots of the whole car from the back, etc.
Thanks for your replys and opinions!!!

Re: PICS OF MY BERGER PANEL, INTERIOR, ETC!!!!!
I agree with SuperDave479.......it really does look like you are "prepping" the pannel for painting and it still needs to go into the body shop. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
The interior looks good though....I did the same thing. It adds a European look to the car.
Paint the panel another color and the car would look really good. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
