Saw this today on ebay, and unlike the VFN hood (too agressive for a daily drive, imho) but this hood looks more subtle but agressive at the same time.
Any body know if it.

Re: new WS6 style hood, anybody have one? I have that hood. Still have to get it painted though. Hey where are you at in Orlando? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale for 2 weeks and I have the car with me so you can check out the hood if you want. I'll be taking pictures of it today. The guy hasn't set up a webpage yet. I told him that he should do it, he'll get alot of business. And it does come with the grill inserts, just say that you want them.

Already have a WS6 car, so i dont "need" a new hood, but i love the way that looks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I might have to look into that in a couple years.

How is the build quality on that hood. Would it at all be possible to get some more pictures of the hood in the daytime, and one under the hood?

Re: new WS6 style hood, anybody have one? The hood looks like its about the same dimensions as a stock WS6 hood, but the nostrils look much much better. They appear to fit the lines of the front of the car better. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> Thats why I have always liked the Firehawk hood better than the stock WS6 hood.

Re: new WS6 style hood, anybody have one? More pics in the daytime? Well the underside of the hood is also black. I'll try to take more. The build quality is very good since the guy did it by hand. And it is extremely strong. It's hand laid fiberglass not chopped fiberglass. He showed me the strips that he used. Talk about thick. One of his customers ran over one of his hoods to see how strong it was. No cracks. Just smells like model glue, the resin. Oh and it really isn't the same size as the stock WS6 hood. He had those in his shop as well and side by side there is a noticable difference. I tried to get it in the pics. The front part of the hood is about the same but where it trails back towards the windshield is where you see the difference. On the WS6 hoods, it tapers off towards the windshield while this one stays the exact height. Put this car and a WS6 car together and it is a very noticable difference. Not just the paint color! Sorry for the long reply but I'm tryin to explain how it differs from the WS6 hood. Phew.
