Tried out an idea with some wagon wheels....
So I got bored yesterday and decided to paint the spokes of my wagon wheels a metallic graphite to match my emblems and manta stripe (that I have yet to put on). It didn't turn out too bad, but I'm just not feeling it. I like the color, just not the thickness of the spokes. I'm planning on getting some RPM505's one of these days and I'll probably take them to a guy I know who will powdercoat the centers of those wheels to match this color. Here are the pics;
What I started with;
After some paint (please excuse the messy garage);
On the car (I didn't paint my center caps because I just wasn't sold on the design);
I like the color, I like the contrast, I just don't like the wheel. When I got my car it came with these wheels, so I've kind of been stuck with them. I know they are ugly, haha! Anywho just wanted to post these up in case someone else has a similar idea and wants to envision what these wheels *could* look like.

Thanks for the positive responses! I went ahead and painted them back to the factory color for now. I think they just looked better in my head than they did in real life. It's not that I think that they look bad or anything, just not quite what I was looking for. But hey, if you don't go ahead and try it out then you'll never know!
