i can tell that the front bumper and front quarter panels do not match in color take it to a good body shop and first fix the gaps in the hood and bumper then get it painted and lowered and some nice chrome wheels thats all you need to do.

theres too many trans ams and trans am clones. i'd just throw some nice rims on it.. black 18s with a chrome lip goes good with silver in my opinion.
maybe change the door 'FIREBIRD' to the 98-02 FIREBIRD emblem or delete it all together. i wouldnt do a ram air hood unless u put a 98-02 front end on it.
heres my old 98 firebird v6. it looked like yours when i bought it. i put the trans am hatch on it (from a guy guy in Orlando who strips wrecked fbodies), Wings West side skirts (found em on ebay used), did the t-top conversion (from a "write-up" i read online), ram air hood was already on it by the previous owner. i kinda miss the way this car looked. laer on when i buy a 98-02 Trans Am i'm probably gonna paint it the same color as this. i have the stock rear bumper still so i can get the paint matched. it looked nice in person. some non-stock metallic green color.

I'm sure he meant condition-wise. Shitty paint, flaky wheels, misaligned panels, etc. He was probably trying to encourage you by saying your car could look great with some work.
Don't jump to conclusions on people's intentions so quickly and fire back with unnecessary rudeness.
When you hear hoofbeats, you think horses, not zebras.

No kidding, the man puts together a beautiful TA clone along with a t-top mod of all things, pulls a hot chick to top it all off-- then the guy who doesn't know what side moldings are "owns" him, believe me he knows the differences between 93-97 and 98-02.

I know you're new here, OP, but if you go around trying to prove you know more than other people on here, you aren't going to make many friends.
Also, you're going to be very disappointed when you find out how little you really know about these cars.
I thought I knew my car, but then I started checking this site a couple times a day and I've found that I know about as much about my car as a tree knows about professional soccer.

Buddy I would maybe think about cutting your losses, that's gonna be a big buck project turning it into something, would be a lot cheaper to pick up a ls1 car than go threw paint etc,I would just drive it the way it is and save some cash, its not a bad car just to drive around, but once paint ,ext mods, and there is no point in performance you could have paid for a clean ls1,not trying to be a dick ,if you have the cash more power to you,if its a long term project that's cool,if you have mad paint skills then it would make it a lot more budget friendly,
And if your just trying to fix it up to sell it I wouldn't worry about paint or anything, just give it a good cleaning, your never gonna get the money you put into it back, like I said save your money, maybe do a few small things but you don't wanna get to deep into it

If you're just a die-hard fan of the LT1 body, get an LT1 formula
I got a 1994 Formie as my first car in 2005 for $4500. The only thing wrong with it visually was a couple of paint chips in the hood. It was fine mechanically as well. They can probably be found more cheaply today.

Ahhh sorry about that bro. I didn't mean to be so rude, I was studying for my chem finals and all the stress that was accumulated sorta was...boomed.
Apology granted.
As for my car, I'm probably just gonna restore it.
