I don't think I'm going to do the manta. Thanks for the suggestions though. If I do I would get the decal so that I could remove it, but I think I'm going to leave the hood the way it is.

They look to white in the photos. I know sylvania stopped making the silverstar yellow bulbs. I'm used to seeing them that yellow on mine.

As far as the whistlers go, some have reported that the new semi whistlered lights that were offered some years ago are now fully whistlered. They are about $135 for the set. Just something to consider.

Looks extremely good man, I want the same one for my car. Just like that, but just in the gloss black'ish sort of color that they originally come in. Looks the best IMO, but it looks great painted on your car.

looks great, i say do whistler mod and black running lights to bring out that black stripe in the grille i think it would look great

No, it's not that I dont like it, I do. I love custom stuff. I just think body colored grilles put too much color in the front and not enough contrast, but anything beats the billet grilles, lol. I've been on tech for a while and I love SLP grilles so I've got a few pics of them in custom paint. But I do think you need a whistler next....and ASAP! And try a Manta, I guarantee you'll love it!

That white SS needed the stripes painted on the grille...

As far as the whistler, I wouldn't mind doing it, I just don't want to eff up OEM headlights that are in near perfect condition, then have to go pay $400 a piece for a new set of OEM ones...

If someone was selling a set close to me for a resonable price I would probably pick up a set.

As far as the sidemarkers, I'm going to VHT my stock amber corners sometime this week and throw one on to compare, if I like it, I'll switch the other one also, if I think the clear looks better, well, then I have a set of amber corners that are VHT'd. Lol.
