Steve, when are you going to start designing and
building your own cars? I mean really, your attention
to detail is just about there with Chip Foose.
-brian

Thanks, that some compliment.. Ive been to Foose's shop and that place is amazing.. God, the stuff I could design if I had thier resources to carry out the project
I'd love to have a "hot rod shop" but SoCal has quite a few already.. maybe someday
Blown 346: Had that custom made, powder painted and engraved.. You could buy a blank one from MBA products, have it powder painted then have it custom engraved..
Lookin good
So your at it again, or did you ever stop . Every thing looks awsome as allways. Do I see braided lines for the brakes and othere items? mucho $$$$$$. What will you do when there is nothing left to do?
Lookin good

Never stopped .. Yep the power steering, AC and fuel lines will all be in teflon lined braided.. the AC lines are carbon coated teflon to keep the freon inside.. cost a few $$$ since the stuff had to be all hand fabricated (one PS line alone was $90).. but in the end it should be worth it plus servicing the AC system in the future should be breeze.
There is always more to do.. K-member/A-arms, Hard lined Nitrous systems, Dynomat, new carpet, black suede headliner, the list just goes on and on.. lol and when thats all done then its time to REALLY do the undercarriage..
Not to bring up and old topic, is the ac canister easy to remove and then re-connect? Not sure what it is for and if it will mess up the ac? I took the bracket off and polished part of the can, but it looks stupid only half polished.

Well its easy to remove BUT you would have to re-charge the AC system with Freon when your done
Im a sick, sick man.. I just got back my AIR tubes (off the headers) from being silver ceramic coated.. lol..
Hey, the chrome shop I use is the same one Jesse James uses (monster garage) for West Coast Choppers!! sorta cool..
Thanx, Mikie
Alright, Steve, I've been working on my caliper brackets for some time now. How did you get those things to be so smooth? Your shop buddy's must have some pretty sweet tools.

I've got just one word here. WOW!

Brian

Same shop that does my polishing.. they just ground the steel smooth.. then the powder painting made it extra spiffy
Bad00SS: check my other post (blingmobile) for details on the chrome shop
