Re: Whats the deal with VFN Yeah, I would like to know the same on the update of the 4" SS hood, or whatever inch it is...maybe 3"...ne ways, I hope its here for sale soon, cuz man I want one, I have the stock hood but with what I'm doing to my car, its def. gonna give it the badass look, black is bad, lol...btw, if any one does have pics, plz. get underside pics of the hood...its gonna be hard to beat the looks of underneath the stock SS hood.

Re: Whats the deal with VFN spud: Yes, I have the stock SS hood on my black 00 SS, but no, I highly doubt I will be selling it...every mod I do, I'm keeping the original parts...I may not even change to the VFN hood, but I prob. will to get that "bad" look I'm looking for...if I do go to sell it, however, I will personally contact your name...

I am waiting until it is painted til I take underside pics. Can't see crap when it's all black. Not the most attractive underside, but it's fine. At least it's a functional cowl and gets rid of ALOT of excess heat.

My buddy Henry was the prototype car a while back and we are picking up his hood on Saturday.
VFN was back and forth regarding what grill to use, since the OEM LT1 grill was planned for use and it's turning out to be a bit pricey.

Re: Whats the deal with VFN FYI we picked up Henry's VFN SS hood on Saturday... A few final facts regarding the hoods...
1) They are now for sale.
2) They are going to get grills made by a supplier since the GM OEM LT1 grill is too expensive unless you don't mind spending an extra $50 when you order the grill.
3) The hood is 3 inches, not 4 inches. Unlike the 4" ram hood that we helped on, the 3" SS hood is more refined and is not huge looking at all.
4) We hope to have painted and installed pics of the hoods on Henry's black Z in the next few weeks...

If not now, they can take are money but not deliver? I was supposed to be on the list to be notified but somehow i think this list is hoha...
I want this hood, can we have an actual rep of vfn chime in on this and say an actual time frame? I will easily put in 50 bucks for the grill if i can get one NOW!

Re: Whats the deal with VFN Yes this hood is now available for purhase, we did not want to sell any until we had test fit them and had solved our grill situation, we are going to have the grills produced for us from a plastics company, if you guys want the hoods we can send the grills later, we do have some of these hoods made and can start shipping them this week.
