When you paint it, paint the hood silver with the car and leave a manta of carbon fiber

Where did you get the stuff you used to fill the gap? I'm looking for some CF to make a sort of a fog light bezel on my girls car I need it to have a very small amount of flex to it so it can contour against the opening I want to place it against but I still need it stiff enough to be able to mount the fog light in it and not flex when the wind pushes against it while driving if that makes any sense lol.

I make it by the sheet. It's very flexible. I used to make a lot of carbon parts for the race team I use to work for

You still make it?

What size sheets can you make and for what price?

nice work. but I have a hard time believing they are gonna make you run any faster... especially 125. If you were going for 200 then maybe...lol

I have'nt made any for a while. The peice of glass I made it on broke. A 4'x4' peice would be around $275+/-. The carbon it's is usually around $40 per/yd plus the resin, peelply backing and release agents. My shop rate is $50 per/hr and it would take about 2.5 hr or so.

every little bit helps. Aerodynamics start coming into play @ 40 mph. My next project is to make a diffuser panel. I've made them before...just not for my Camaro. Hopefully that will help a little to, it always did on our race cars.

Interesting idea, and definitely a problem area on these cars. But it looks out of place to me.
