Default Paging anyone that has sat in Corbeau Forzas :)

Hi guys,
I need your opinion on Corbeau Forza seats.

I am planning on picking one up for the Formula.

Are they comfortable?

I am 6 foot 1, ~200 pounds with a 33 inch waist and a 49 inch back (I am pretty wide across the shoulders LOL)

I am wondering if this seat will feel too small for me? Anyone sit in a Forza II?

I am more interested on Feedback for the forza though.

Thanks again!
Chris

The Forza II is the same as the original just a little bigger in the dimensions. They go for about $249ea, and are about 19lbs. I didn't particularly care for them, and I didn't really like the way they looked. I didn't like the leg side bolstering. I am probably going to go with something in the OMP or Sparco line. I didn't at all like the way the regular Forza felt in shoulders for me. It wasn't enough support. I am not nearly as big as you are either. I also thought the leg length was a little short if I had to use it to drive around in frequently.

Chris,

I think your best bet is to find someone in your area with a Forza in their F-Body and try it out. I like my Forza a lot. I'm not as tall as you, but I'm pretty wide (5 ft 6 / 220 lbs / 48+ chest - no fat jokes!). I think the Forza fits me pretty well - snug and supportive. It may be a little short in the seat length for you - again, you are best trying one on before you decide. For me, the only thing I think the seat needs is a little more lumbar support for longer trips. I will likely purchase an adjustable (inflatable?) lumbar support for my seat from Speed Inc.

Oh yeah, if you are accustomed to driving while having the seat back reclined, this seat is not for you. The seating position is very upright and of course non adustable. It is a full-time racing seat.

Anyway, hope this helps!

Thanks guys,

I am going to sit in a demo seat tomorrow

The main purpose for the seat for me is protection in the car (besides looking good too) for racing. I have a six point in the car now and want to have a seat that will help protect me in case I wipe the car at the strip

I dont mind sitting pretty straight as I do that in my racing position anyways.

Thanks again, I'll sit in it tomorrow and let you know what I think of it.
Cheers,
Chris

I sat in the Forza and think it will work great

I agree about the lumbar issue and ordered the inflatable lumbar balloon thing

The seat is nice and light and looks good too. I cant wait to get it in the car (Should be delivered Friday)

if necessary I will put in some foam at the bottom of the seat to keep from feeling too "sunk" in
