Default Finally made some changes this weekend!

Cleaned the car up a bit and waxed it, and painted some interior trim panels (A/C vent rings, radio bezel, and door handle bezel?) to match the exterior, inlcuding the center of my new GTO ****, It's not actually installed in these pics, just sitting there. Still gotta work on finishing that project up lol. Anyhow on to the important part, lemme know what you think!

this is likely the closest to how it looks in person

Looks good. I like the interior pieces being painted to match the outside. That to me is a color that can be brought from the outside in and still look good.

thanks guys! I was very happy with how the color went with the inside

The Mighty Texan, it is not original paint, unfortunately GM never gave us a nice charcoal color from the factory lol. She was originally NBM.

As far as it needing a short stick, it has one. as I stated in the original post the **** is sitting on the stick as it isn't drilled out yet lol just there for picture purposes, haha.

I'm still not 100% on the panels on the door, I feel like it needs something else to tie it in better, any suggestions that aren't expensive? I would love to do some inserts but that just isn't an option right now.

Not sure, maybe if the switch bezels were the same color as the door handle inserts, it might pull it together a little more?

Just an idea, throwing it out there, don't know whether that would look good at all or not.

I've thought about that, I'm thinking if I can get my hands on some camaro switch panels with the black switches (besides I like the camaro mirror adjustment better lol) I'll give it a shot. I think the gray switches on the gray panel would be too much.

Are the panels interchangeable like that?

Sparky, I know the wiring is the same, worst case scenario I will have to change out the mirror pigtail. The plate itself I''m 90% sure is. I know for a fact it was before 97, because I put 95 firebird panels in my 94 camaro, and re-used my camaro's switch plate and switches.
does anyone know for sure if this is possible in the 98+?

I really like that paint. I have been looking at painting mine a color that doesnt come factory. Summit makes a color called carbon fiber grey that I want to go with. Do you happen to have a paint code for this? I just want to see how close it is to the color I want, so I can get an idea of what its going to look like on a car.
