Cleaning Torq Thrust II wheels
Ive got "water spot" looking marks all over them and I have tried many different types of polishes and cleaners to get them off but they stay there. Any suggestions on what to use etc....

Mine were really bad at one time, basically I got a good wheel polishing rag, meguiers Mag wheel polish and a LOT of elbow grease now they look great, I tried mothers power ball and that never worked but now to maintain them I use Adams 1&2 wheel polish.
here is meguiers

i always used wenoil on mine and thats stuff always worked great even if they were severly neglected.
the last couple of times i had cleaned them though i used griotts magwheel polish and it did a good job as well.
but the most important thing is time and elbow grease and for me i found i did a better job if i took the wheel off and cleaned them

Check out Adam's Metal Polish! AMAZING results, and with less effort than the ones mentioned in this thread so far!

I like it a lot. I tried Mothers and they do not compare to White Diamond. Idk if Mothers has it or not but White Diadond has a sealant in there polish and with that I can tell a huge difference cause with W/D, I'm not having to polish my wheels, exhaust tips, under the hood parts, etc as much as I did with Mothers. And W/D can be had at about any auto parts store and it is a little pricey but is well worth it. Just my $0.02.

I have tried many different polishes on my TT2's and I have made the switch to stuff called Blingmaster. You use so little of it on them and it does a beautiful job, better than anything else. Not sure if the guy that sells it is still a sponsor on here. But I know its still for sale on his website. You will never use anything else on polished wheels. It also made my stainless steel tips almost a mirror finish. Its only an 8 oz. bottle, but you can clean 20 sets of 4 rims including the inner barrels. It doesnt take much. It runs about 25 after shipping but definitely worth it with out a doubt. PM me if you want me to send you the info for his website

I have some of that Blingmaster too and agree it is a very good polish like most liquid polishes. The Adams stuff is supposed to be even better.
I would take Adams/Blingmaster/other watery liquid polish over ANY paste (Mothers, Meguires Hot Rims, Eagle 1, etc)
You use a dime sized drop on an inside out sock and work 1/8-1/4 wheel at a time and it works fast and easy. Last time I used some Blingmaster on a powerball mini and that also works great and took about 5 minutes per wheel.
