Could get your tires marked for excessive wear, as if they were worn down or something. Probably not the best idea for track tires but for a street or show car, it's the little details that stick out to ppl.

I used to work at a Lube Express, so I always look at tire sidewalls on every car, just force of habit. I hate the looks of a cluttered/over"decorated" sidewall personally. I really like Nitto's simplistic sidewall on their tires. I can definitely see why people do this. I'd be tempted to maybe leave the brand and size on the sidewall, but all the "ribs" and graphics and garbage you see on so many tires could disappear without me minding! lol
