new T/A wing is it out there?
Some questions....
Why rice out a Trans Am?
Are you going dirt track racing?
Are you Joe Dirt??
What did you used to drive:
A)Honda
B)Toyota
C)Mom's car
D)Playstation with Gran Turismo
E)Never owned a car before
If you buy that wing, John Force will hunt you down, beat you up and take it back from you, so be warned......

I'd try giving a call to TNT in Houston...the Viper tuner and see who they get to make their LeMans style wings. I've been in a couple of times where they were fitting them so i know it can be done on a TransAm. It won't be that big if you were to scale it from the nitro car, but that style is pretty rad. My car's appearance and stance was modeled after longtail cars and i'm pretty proud of it....would even consider a wing like that, i just don't want to be the test dummy.
And don't listen to anyone that yells rice. Chances are they wouldn't know good taste if it bit them in their ***.
kind of a way is that to welcome someone to the board? All
of you need to stop all this "ricer" crap, I'm sick of it.
LS1Power98:
Scaled properly to a real TA, I think that would look badass.
I don't think there is anything out there like it, so it would be
some serious fabrication. Not something that is going to happen
cheaply. Might be worth looking into though, if you have the
means to get it done. Good luck!

i suppose the following Lamborghini Murcielago is "Rice" because it's made entirely from carbon fiber and has a FUNCTIONAL racing wing.....

LS1POWER98, i would go with McTullis' idea and see if you can get one off a viper like the black one in the pic, and have someone fabricate that on to your car.

For a race car, yes its bad ***, but for a car that will never see the racetrack, it is overkill, just like a 12 point cage, or a chute out the back when running 13's.

If i was building a highspeed road race car, i would love to have something like that, but for my daily driver, that runs 12's, no.

If the car isn't going to be raced @ triple digit speeds that would require a wing like that then it is definitely
It's equivalent to a Z28 owner converting the car to an SS and claiming it as an original SS.
But hey it's his car and if that's what he wants to do to it then that's his choice.
We all make choices in life some are good and some are bad, but how else are we to learn but from our mistakes??
I'm with Richie and the rest on this. That is
:. The car will never be at speeds high enough for that wing to function any better than an SS spoiler. Therefore, it's rice just like a super trick hood scoop yo! Besides, you're just asking for someone to say something when you put something like that on your car. So why is everyone getting defensive when someone says something against it?
But all in all, to each his own.

Hell, you guys havent even seen the real thing yet. Most toy cars are a little out of porportion and not to scale. I seriously doubt it would look that bad in person if done right
