Default how to clean dash with that new dash look?

Is there any way to get my dash to look like a brand new car? Any type of cleaner? I dont like the armor all shiny type cleaners, I just want something to clean and protect but not be shiny. Any input?

I wipe mine down with meguiars all purpose cleaner and then apply 303 aerospace. Gives it a good finish but not too glossy and protects it from UV

I use supreme shine as well, not to much of a gloss finish and looks nice and clean.

Clean it first with a heavily diluted multipurpose claener such as Megs APC, and then hit it with Aerospace 303 for a perfect matte black shine.

X's 2 on the APC , and heavily diluted is right lol ...this stuff is very soapy if you use too much inside. Also a tip, mix it with distilled wated so as the dash dries it does leave the white haze tap water does sometimes. For protectant I use Einzett Cockpit Premium. Not one ounce of shine with that stuff, it have UV protection and it smells good. As mentioned above, 303 is great too.

+1 for meguiars interior detailer or natural shine vinyl/rubber protectant. Those are the only 2 things i use to detail my interior, except for the my leather seat which i use zaino.

DO NOT USE ANYTHING WITH SILICON IN IT! Your dash will crack like chapped lips on a hooker in Alaska.

I use Adams products. First I use the leather and interior cleaner to get all of the previous protectants and previous things that had been applied. Then I hit it with their Leather Conditioner. Leaves a nice satin-gloss finish, not too shiny, but it has a slight shine. It also leaves it looking darker and protects it.

Yes. The leather and interior cleaner is for all interior surfaces, like leather and plastic. And the conditioner can also be used on plastics. The conditioner doesn't leave the surface greasy or slippery like most others do. If you watch the Adams detail videos you will see that he also uses these products on the dash and other surfaces in the interior.

Using a product made specially for the dash is a better choice than using leather conditioner. I hope you don't wash your car with dish soap.....

This comes directly copy and pasted from Adams website...

"Adam's Leather & Interior Conditioner offers premium protection for your dash, door panels, and any other hard interior surface."

I would not use a product that wasn't intended for that use. You should probably inform yourself about the product before making an ignorant comment about it.

I'll stick with my product and you can stick with the one you use.

In case you're seriously asking about the dish soap, no, I use Adams car shampoo.

Just keep using those overpriced Adam's products that claim you can use a leather conditioner on vinyl, and I'll continue to use the less expensive Meguiar's products that are intended to be used on the proper surfaces.
