Default Fake tips....good or bad idea?

I'm switching from a borla to an x-pipe system. Since it will be dumped under the car I won't have any exhaust tips. I was thinking of getting a CME rear fascia and hanging a set of fake tips there. I figured it would look good and give the cops the idea that I have an exhaust. What do you think...would that be a bad idea? What tips would look good? I'd like to have a dual/dual for 4 tips back there.

On camaros I think no tips showing at all looks the best, for Trans Ams they are almost a must IMO b/c of the bumper.

I currently have the xenon body kit rear fascia and may get the CME rear piece.
