Fake tips....good or bad idea?

Fake tips....good or bad idea? I'm switching from a borla to an x-pipe system. Since it will be dumped under the car I won't have any exhaust tips. I was thinking of getting a CME rear fascia and hanging a set of fake tips there. I figured it would look good and give the cops the idea that I have an exhaust. What do you think...would that be a bad idea? What tips would look good? I'd like to have a dual/dual for 4 tips back there.

Re: Fake tips....good or bad idea? im in the same boat you are im getting duals but also have the CME with the tips the cme is awesome looking but i want duals so i'll see what the exhaust shop can do as far as taking them over the axle and then bending to connect into tips if its too much$$ then i'll just hang the tips up some how
