Supposedly they are just as heavy as stock wheels.

http://www.cragar.com/wheels_cfw.html check out the cragar forged alloys. They may be lighter.

well i dont think anyone would get 17s for lightness. this is the same concept as the TTs. old school looks, new school sizes.

I asked this awhile ago and no one had them. I didn't know they had 17x11s though, just thought they had 17x9.5s.

Why don't you get a set of them, and then I can get see how they look. Heck, if you don't like them, just give them to me. <img border="0" alt="[gruffy cottonball]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_gruffy.gif" />

A friend of mine has 15x6 front and 15x10 rear prostar XP's... looks SOOOOO good on his car. I don't know how to track down any pics of his car or I'd post one... Gives the car a killer stance.

do the 15x10s fit without grinding like the 16s? just wondering. also i bet they weigh more (15x10 vs. 15x10 XP). i think they look great. i have only seen a set of 17s on a mustang.

and yea derek i saw the 17x11s in the pro-stars. they could be SICK on the TA!

No, any sort of 15" Weld product will necessitate caliper grinding in back...

I did run 16x9 XP Draglites a few years ago and they fit great, and now that Hoosier makes a 28x11.5x16 slick I could have kept those.

I have seen the 17" XP Pro Stars on a TA at Speed Inc. and they looked decent.

the 15 inch XP's don't require grinding. I think you have to run a spacer though??

Well needing a spacer in back means then to run w/o spacers you need to grind a bit. I am uncomfortable with spacers in back look at how much thread contact you have with stock studs and maybe you will see why... I run longer studs so it's not an issue for me.

hey john, just a quick sort a on topic question. if i have a moser 12 bolt i assume the studs are longer and stronger. is it then ok to run a spacer out back? i dont want to cut any studs.

If the studs are longer than stock.

With all the people around here dropping $700+/wheel on Fikse and HRE rims, $400/wheel is cheap.

However, the XPs do look awesome.
