Default buffing inside fenderwells in the engine comp.

i remember seeing a post of someone buffing the inside of their engine comp to look like the exterior. i was wondering if anyone knows how to do this, bc it is a diff paint, do i need to sand it down w/ 1000 grit sand paper?? i just powdercoated my valve covers and relocated my coils and now i am just in the mood to make my engine comp bitchen. this is just the start of many many mods. so if anyone knows how to do any of this please lemme know. plus, if anyone has any other suggestions on making the engine comp look clean, feel free to lemme in on it, like relocating the wire harness etc. TIA

I don't think that there is any clearcoat on that paint. Just basecoat. Scratch it in an inconspicous spot. If the scratch is white then there is clear.
