Best cleaner for chrome wheels?

I just got a set of 36mm ZR1 chrome wheels, and want to know the best way to protect them and keep them clean. I run Hawk HP+ pads, so the wheels get dusty real quickly. I have already noticed it's not as bad as the way it just stuck to my old painted wheels, and seem to wipe clean very easily vs painted.
I preferred the Titanium wheel cleaner for my old wheels since it's pH balanced neutral and seems to clean the best as well. However for chrome I have heard everything from Windex, to regular car soap and water, to Mother's Chrome wheel cleaner.
What are your suggestions/experience?
Also should I wax them or leave as is?

For me, I just do a normal hand car wash with car soap and water. If the wheels get slightly dirty throughout driving, braking, etc. I just whipe them down with water and cloth and of course Tire Shine
I used to do Windex with my old car but not doing that again.

with my old "triple plated" chrome Z06's i never had to use anything but a dry wash cloth...30 seconds per wheel and they looked brand spankin new no matter how bad they were to start....i used flour with my zr-1s with awesome results, thats right, i said flour lol
