I always liked those wings on the 3rd gens, I have an 86 and wouldn't change mine but it'd be cool to buy another newer 3rd gen z that had it.
It sort of looks like an aftermarket part how its grafted on the sides, doesn't look bad.
I think the car would look good with some of the newer style iroc wheels, my 86 has the older style which I don't think looks as nice.

I alway's wondered what that spoiler would look like on a convertible, great job for doing something different. I wish I could put mine on but lost on what to do with the fenders without painting the car.

Yours would be easy to do. Just fill the holes where the old spoiler mounted, drill new ones for the new spoiler on the trunk lid, and fill the holes in the quarter panels for the old side spoiler pieces. You can feather out the paint without spraying the whole quarter panel if you know what you're doing.

As for the gap above the tail lights, that's how it was before except the old spoiler hung down past the lip of the trunk so it wasn't noticeable. It seals great with the gasket under the trunk lid so I'm gonna leave it where it is.
