Default custom billet idea?

i work at a machine shop. i can make some billet parts for our cars. ive been looking around and i may try to do 2 prototype pieces and see if you guys may be interested. 1st piece is going to be a lighter that is billet and can have either ss,z28,bowtie,firebird,and or a vette logo on them. i could have them anodized, polished,or chromed as well. the 2nd im going to try is an intake plaque. the first pieces are going to be w/ ss engraved on them b/c thats what i drive and there for my car. anyone that would be interested let me know and ill have a few picks to show in a couple of week. and if you have any ideas, questions,or comments for me let me know as well! thanks

I think once you have the pictures up you'll get a better idea what everyone thinks, good luck.

I've been looking some billet pieces. I would the Trans Am logo in the same font as the one on the door, but much smaller to fit on the fender. I would prefer a satin, machined(non-polished) finished. Also the Pontiac emblem would nice.

Some nice pedals maybe. Sick of ugly ones lke the shiny MBA ones. I want a nice matte finish. Also, under the hood, some billet accesories would be cool, as would the lighter, and maybe if possible, the vents which would kick ***

How about two additional pieces, a cover for the power steering pump, and a cover for the computer.

I already came up with a LS6 intake plate and Rob (Poltergeist) made a batch.. they are way cool

A power steering resevoir cover would be great but very difficult to do.. A computer cover would sell like hotcakes

SRP makes a very nice set of billet pedals.. not shiny and they grip great!! Can even be had with SS or WS6 or Z28 on them

Let us know what you plan to make

Hey Steven, how do I go about getting one of those LS6 intake plates? I like that way that thing looks. OH....RKSport already makes a billet lighter, but there is no engraving on it. And yes...a computer cover would rock. How about a hood scoop grille...would be a royal pain, but would sell like nothing else!

I only came up with the idea, he did the hard part and made the template -- he is not making any more that I know of but maybe he could send you the template.. they really are a nice finishing touch.

First item should be a computer cover!

How about some fender side vents with the factory pattern. Pontiac style HVAC and headlight controls, vents would be cool... food for thought for us pontiac types
