WS6 Hood question

WS6 Hood question As spring rapidly approaches in the beautiful midwest, the time is upon me to buy a ws6 hood for my 98 TA. I have it narrowed down to vfn, ascd, suncoast, or that one from roger on ebay. My question is, when suncoast shows a picture of their hood/airbox kit, the air filter is visible with no lid covering it. Is this the case with all of these other hoods as well? The suncoast looks like it has a hole cut into it where the airbox fits up into. How are the rest of these hoods setup? Any information is, as always, much appreciated.

Re: WS6 Hood question I bought a ws6 hood from robert that he made to fit my camaro I was very happy with the fit and the look cant say much about the others but robert makes all his hoods and does a good job at least from what I can tell. Re: WS6 Hood question I just got the VFN hood, its nice, dealing with them was pretty good too, I have a few pics in my webshots album. I'm gonna post some underside hood pics soon as some people wanted to see the finish on the underside. Check out the pics, thats the best hood for the price out there.

Re: WS6 Hood question Thanks alot guys, keep the info coming!!! I was unaware that the VFN hood was not functional?? Are any of these other hoods the same way? If so, are they made functional simply by picking up an lower airbox from the original WS6? Thanks again.
