Does anybody know the part number and/or cost of the replacement headrest leather. I just called a local dealership and they said they weren't sure if it was the right part, but they had something they thought was the headrest leather listed for $180 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> That seems really high for a couple sq ft of leather.

That sounds just right my g/f cut the bottom part of the seat (something in back pocket <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> ) and they said around $600.00

Damn! $600 for the cheap *** GM leather. You can get custom leather seats for $1500 or less. I'm going to try to do some junk yard salvaging in Houston and surrounding areas. Hopefully there'll be a car somewhere with a good set of headrests. I still can't believe $180 just for the headrest leather. That's ridiculous.

Thats' pretty high, since they aren't even leather, at the ones on my 30th aren't! And they were only $126 each and they're white with embroidery!

The headrests on your 30th weren't leather? What were they, vinyl? I guess mine could be vinyl, but I'm pretty sure that they're leather.

Just like the rest of the seat upholstery, the headrest is leather on the front, and vinyl on the rear.

Did gm take all the **** leather nobody else wanted and put it in our cars? Is the leather in Caddy's like ours?

It sure doesn't feel like leather in the front either. Either way, why you want use factory leather for anything, to say it's worse than **** is an understatement. Mine started peeling like a bad sunburn, because they spray a ltex-like color on it. Cheap a$$ $hit. I hope Caddy's don't get screwed too. I know the C5 leather appears to be much nicer than ours, but then again, do do my $15 Payless Hi-Tops!! :hest:
