There was a pic or two of a red one with them removed floating around the forums a while back. I wasnt able to find it in my search though.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing.I already took off the Trans Am lettering off of the doors. It really cleans it up.I want to take the side body moldings off also.I'm hoping the paint under the molding is perfect and there are no imperfections under the moldings. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I took the side moldings & Trans Am badges off & the car looks a lot more clean. The paint was perfect under the moldings & badges, so no touch up was needed.

I took mine off about 3 weeks ago. I Love it. I just took a hair dryer and heated each strip for a few seconds, which made them easier to come off. The long piece on the door was more of a pain, cause the tape stayed on the door and I had to slowly roll it off with my thumb! Then just go over the new surface with WD40 or adhesive remover. (NOTE: wash area after use of WD40) No touch up should be needed. Good Luck

i pulled mine off, a little goo gone adheasive remover and a heat gun made the job easy. the paint underneath was just fine.

I took mine off too. Looks nice and subtle. Most won't even notice, but I sure like the looks of it. My trim was kinda dull compared to the rest of the car, so it looks nice now. I still need to get some goo gone for one spot.
