Re: water in clear corners
Just pull them off, and drill two small holes in the bottom of the clear corners so that the water can escape. Solves the problem rather nicely.

I have said this before, I have never heard of anyone having a problem with www.pacificie.com clear corners.

I gave them a shot and sure enough they worked great for about a year... but they did eventually start to melt a little bit and allowed moisture in... unfortunately there isn't a brand of clear lenses out there that wont eventually have a problem.
I've had Diamond Clears from Afterthoughts Auto for about 3-5 months and one of them is already a little hazy...
BTW: RK Sport's lenses are worse... want proof?

I wonder if there isn't a bulb out with less watts, maybe that would cure the melting problem.
ncZ28, "amber red light", what's that? If you mean red bulbs yes there is, APC handles them.

P.S. Looks like I won't be recommending any brand of clear lenses in the future.

Re: water in clear corners
dark age 53 i ment amber colored l.e.d's. they do not get hot. so it wont melt the plastic. therefore may stop the leaking problem. but do they make them in amber colors.

Re: water in clear corners
Whoever had my car before me had put clear corners on it. They have gathered so much moisture in them that one has turned moldy green. I just ordered some new diamond clear corners from afterthoughtsauto. To try and prevent water from getting in these I will silicone the edges and I've ordered L.E.D bulbs from www.clearlights.com. I might also put a hole in them. Surely this will work.

Re: water in clear corners
Well... my recommendation to those with melting problems is to replace the light socket. Some people haev more problems than others... but it seems some lenses cause this problem more than others.
Not sure if this is the case with everyone but when the RK Sport lenses originally burned up the socket the bulbs go into got semi-burned as well... from what I understand they are more prone to overheat after this has happened once. I plan to replace mine now that I'm on my third pair of clear corners! (One from RKS, one from Pacific IE and the other from afterthoughts).

One thing everyone needs to make sure is that the foam gasket is re-installed correctly.
If it's heat causing the problem then maybe the LED bulbs are the answer, worth a try for anyone who has clear corners.

Re: water in clear corners
After looking at my new ones from afterthoughts I'm not thinking drilling a hole is feasible. These have chrome plastic lining the inside that could shatter. My old ones were just plastic. I have siliconed the edges, ordered LEDs, and will make a gasket out of the silicone for the sockets and cross my fingers.

Re: water in clear corners
I got mine from LS1 Motorsports. Haven't had any problems.
Although, drilling the small holes sounds like a damn good precautionary step.
