water in clear corners
Al
I have said this before, I have never heard of anyone having a problem with www.pacificie.com clear corners.
Al

Al you originally turned me onto their lenses... I gave them a shot and sure enough they worked great for about a year... but they did eventually start to melt a little bit and allowed moisture in... unfortunately there isn't a brand of clear lenses out there that wont eventually have a problem.
I've had Diamond Clears from Afterthoughts Auto for about 3-5 months and one of them is already a little hazy...
BTW: RK Sport's lenses are worse... want proof?

I wonder if there isn't a bulb out with less watts, maybe that would cure the melting problem.
ncZ28, "amber red light", what's that? If you mean red bulbs yes there is, APC handles them.
Al
P.S. Looks like I won't be recommending any brand of clear lenses in the future.

Not sure if this is the case with everyone but when the RK Sport lenses originally burned up the socket the bulbs go into got semi-burned as well... from what I understand they are more prone to overheat after this has happened once. I plan to replace mine now that I'm on my third pair of clear corners! (One from RKS, one from Pacific IE and the other from afterthoughts).
I just checked mine when I was polishing my headlights, One has water in it and they haven't been on the car for a month

Tudds, What brand do you have?
One thing everyone needs to make sure is that the foam gasket is re-installed correctly.
If it's heat causing the problem then maybe the LED bulbs are the answer, worth a try for anyone who has clear corners.
Just pull them off, and drill two small holes in the bottom of the clear corners so that the water can escape. Solves the problem rather nicely.

another vote for that...just drill some small holes on the top and the bottom so the heavy water can drain out and then whats left (mist) can evaporate.
Chris
Although, drilling the small holes sounds like a damn good precautionary step.
