Don't sand in circles. You risk getting material trapped and creating deeper scratches that are very obvious and you'll have to go back down a notch to remove them. Sand in horizontal and vertical motions.

You need a Rotary buffer. PC vibrates too much for efficient lens correction. Harbor Freight has a cheap one that will work for you, especially if your budget is tight. Get a 3" backing plate and 4" wool and polishing pads, and Meguiars 105/205. You'll be good to go.
I would seriously hang on every word this guy says, he posts up some of the most incredible paint transformations I have ever seen.

Here are some updated pictures. I decided before buying a random orbital buffer or a Porter Cable, that I would try the inexpensine version. I bought the Meguiars Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit and the results speak for them selves.... (The pics are in chronilogical order)

Well, what do you all think????

Here's a comparison as best as I could get....

BEFORE:

AFTER:

A definite difference in my opinion!!!! I did use the Headlight protectant that's included in the Meguiar's box, but t made the lense cloudy so I went through the entire process again. If I were to give a true review, I would say do all steps ACCEPT the protectant step... just leave it out because the results are waaaay better without it.

Anyways.... Project complete. Now for installation...

Thanks all! I'm pretty happy with the results and it only cost me $29.99...... Not a bad deal. Granted I already had the DeWalt cordless, but still. Now I'm going to have to do the center piece and the pass. side tail light!
