Heat a section at a time up with a blow dryer, use dental floss to get it to separate from the body, do that all the way down, remove any leftover glue (we used our fingers and a rag), use GooGone to remove any leftover residue. Really simple actually, we are both on our 2nd fbody and this is our 3rd time to do so. My Formy will be #4.

You can't rely on the side moldings to stop dings and scratches... the most vulnerable areas, the rear quarters, have no moldings on them.

The solution is to park further out where no one will park next to you.

You should remove the side badges as well to make it look even cleaner IMO. I think it looks badass to remove all badges except the rear chevy emblem.

I like for my opponents to see what is beating them and I got sick of people asking if my car was a v6 because I took them off my old z for a little bit

If you painted yours flat black OVER the side moldings then I highly recommend leaving them alone. Otherwise you'll have an original color stripe going down the side of your car.
