fast01z28 did this. He cast new button caps out of clear plastic and painted them, or something. Search for threads created by fast01z28

^^^ yes! ive wanted corvette like switches in mine since they are semi flush. i was also going to move the switches to where the tcs switch panel is on a t/a but the wireing was rediculous so i passed up that idea

I am bringing this thread back to life as i am still looking for light up switches for my T/A. i think the little light above it is cheap and crappy.

Why not try to see if the switches will interchange with ours? If the top pieces will fit over our existing switches couldn't we just wire them up to turn on with lights?

where to even start, first did you see how the light got to the actual switches in those, we don't have anything remotely like that, or room for it, also firbird switches don't come apart like that, the plastic you touch is the entire rocker piece down to the pivot point those are caps on top of a switch, tell you what pull off the one on your driver door and just look at how very different those are, if it was that easy someone would have done that years ago when this thread was started.
