Tinting the rear window... getting rid of dots?

Tinting the rear window... getting rid of dots? I've heard that wetsanding is a good way to do it...anyone else have any ideas. im getting my windows tinted soon and i dont want that white spot in the back. i've also heard that just pushing the tint down thru the holes works, but i would rather get rid of them. so come on knowers of all, help a brotha out! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: Tinting the rear window... getting rid of dots? the tint shop will probably put a black vinyl (sp?) strip over the dots. it looks good and doesn't really bother you when you look out the back through the rear view mirror. pretty much everyone i know has done it this way.

Re: Tinting the rear window... getting rid of dots? There are several ways to take care of the issue, you just have to find a good tint shop <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Wet-sanding, vinyl strips, glue sticks...check this thread out:
