Default Tint & what looks good.

Well a few weeks ago I was followed by a cop for 30mins and was pulled over for the 1st time in 2 yrs. He told me everything that was wrong with my car ect... in the end he ended up giving me a tint ticket and I have to appear in court. *I have 20% all around.

Now I have 2 options to go with. Take the tint off the sides for court and then have it put back on after court.....
OR how do you guys think this would look? Take the tint off the sides to be legal and get the T-tops and back window 5%, keep the sides clear.

just pay the fine and don't bother fixing it. a small price to pay to look good. or make friends with a cop, and get him to sign it off. never the less.. good luck!

You can go to your eyedoctor and tell him you have a real hard time seeing when you drive and the sun is shining in, and it also makes your eyes hurt. Tell him you had your windows tinted dark and it helped but you had to remove it b/c of a ticket. He should give you a document that you can take to the DMV that allows you to have illegal dark tint. At least that is what you can do in LA.

or

Remove the tint, go to court with your car, tell them you have removed it. Being your first offense they will take a look at it and should cut you a break. Then go to the eye doctor.

Yea I do know of a few ways I can keep the tint... but I dunno if I wanna go though the hassle of getting pulled over. I can easily get a doc's note for the tint since I wear contacts, but the cops can still pull me over and waist my time.

This is why I'm tring to see if 5% on the back only would look good...?

i got 5% out back and 20% on the sides.. i think it would look pretty decent wit the 5 only on the back. but still look better with the sides done to.. but if thats not a option.. then go with 5% better then nothin!

I have a doctor's note and it works for me everytime. The cops have to comply with the note since it is written for your and others safety while driving.I have 5% on my back window with 20% on the sides and it loks good in MO.I would just leave the tops alone unless you want to be stealth.
