Whoever did this one did it in one big piece and looks great. Limo shade too. Having the 2 front windows done tomorrow and they do a "baking" procedure, instead of the 3 day wait version I am use to.

I saw a freind(who is EXELLENT) try to tint the rear window of a Chrysler car(can't remember which car) and it was a PAIN... ended up having to use two peices b/c the large peice was just too big to work with inside the car. I can just imagine what the back of an F-body would be like.

But I did have mine done in 1 peice but the bad part is that I could only get it in 15% at the time b/c the shop wouldn't do it any darker in the rear with one peice. An amazing thing to me is that it was a WOMAN that did it and she was FAST and very good!

The guy I've had my Aurora and my truck tinted at has been doing tinting for like 20 some years. When I told him I wanted to do it to my Camaro, he said it wouldn't be a problem. He does them all the time and he does them in 1 piece and sprays the top dots. It's harder to clean and prep the window than it is to lay the tint. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Remember, we can fold down our rear seats and sorta lay down while putting it in.

I have one full sheet on my SS and have no problems. Most of the time the tint shops will use more than one piece is due to the kind of car you have or they do not have the newer tint. The 3rd Gens do have to have 2 sheets due to the size and shape of the back window. There should be no reason that you cant have one sheet with a 4th gen. There is new tint out that is big enough to fit on the back window of our cars. The best way to have one sheet fit, is to have the tint guy mold the tint to your backwindow by heating it up a little and forming it to the outside of the car first to get the curves you need. Then turn it over and it can be applied. The guy who did my tint told me all of what I just said due to my questions. Again the only way you have to have 2 sheets is if you have a 3rd Gen.
