pics of painted center console? hey guys im thinking of painting my 98 trans am center console, also my door handle housing, and the gauge housing. (not sure if these are the right terms) wanted to see if anyone has done this before and if there are any pics? thanks!

I can't stand the "look I popped out 3 interior trim pieces and painted them an off color" look
Unless you're doing a factory interior color change, like tan to black or something like that, I would leave it.

I pulled all of my interior minus two pieces on the hatch(forgot those) and painted them all a satin black.
I went from graphite/grey to the satin, big change IMO. Looks good, some places flake off pretty easily though and you need to ensure they get plenty of dry time and keep it OUT of the car to dry and de-gass. I painted mine and then stuck them right back in the car, The de-gassing left the interior smelling like spray paint for around 2-3 weeks. Leaving the windows down helped a lot though while driving and keeping them cracked a bit while parked.

Verdad Gallardo McNord's isn't bad, but I still think the factory finish is better...looks weird being smooth, the color is good though.
Maybe try some wrinkle paint? lol.
I would only do it if your panels weren't in very good shape...in fact don't do it if yours are nice, you'll never get them back to how they were...pick up an extra set and have at it.
