Get yourself a DA. A PC and M105/205 will shine that car right up. It's definitely worth the investment.

You can find a good Porter Cable kit with everything you need for around $250 or so. Car would shine like a diamond in a goats *** afterwards.

I use the mothers powerball on my paint, as it is white AND shitty as it is. if I had fresh paint, I would invest in a polisher

OP, if you are still reading this, Nu Finish is for cars that owners simply do not have the time for, or just try to make look nice. That's fine for many, and steps ahead of people that don't give 2c for their car's appearance.
I do all detailing by hand. No buffers, no nothing but Mother's and Meguiar's products and time. I have yet to spend over $10 per bottle. It doesn't have to be expensive. I have the trophies to prove it for my '01 T/A and also just won a 1st place at a recent Atlanta Porsche concourse event for my '95. Of course your car has to be decent to start with or it might be overwhelming and you may need 'professional' assistance to start out. Good luck to you!

Are you talking about swirl marks or actual scratches because scratches can't be removed. If you can drop it off in Oswego I can take care of it for half of what a detail shop charges.
