Another 17x11 + lowered car + offset ??

Another 17x11 + lowered car + offset ?? Hey guys...I'm looking at picking up some used American Racing 200s series rims. The rears are 17x11's w/315's. Offset on these are 45mm. My car is equipped w/intrax 2" lowering springs. From what I've seen from previous posts, 50mm seems to be the perfect offset. My question is will these work? I don't want these sticking out at all...I really like the rubber being under the car...gives it a stout look IMO. Re: Another 17x11 + lowered car + offset ?? They will stick out a little bit. The 50mm offsets, are flush with the Camaro wheel well. The 45mm will stick out just a hair, just over 1/8". That is assume the Back spacing is the same as GS wheel.

The ZR1 wheels, 36.5mm offset (7.397 backspace) will stick out; the 50mm Corvette GS wheels (7.93 backspacing) will be about even with the outer edge of the car but the inner wheelwell and jounce bumper will require clearancing. I guess the 45mm offset is a compromise, tucking them in a bit and helping the clearance problems. (With respect to the 17x11)
American Racing specifically lists 45.72 mm offset as the correct offset for the 17x11 TT II's on an f-body. I assume that the AR200s are the same, but I don't know for sure. The backspacing that AR gives for the 45.72 mm offset is 7 3/4".
Anyway, good luck on your choice.
