Unfortunately not, some have tried to sand them down before and only made it look worse..

Direct flame for a few seconds will get rid of the white scratches. Let the plastic cool before touching cause you can leave fingerprints. Also, believe it or not, rubbing peanut butter on them sometimes works...

Before you go setting your car on fire or making it smell like a PBJ sandwich. Call a local body shop and ask them who they recommend for plastic and vinyl repairs. If they are a big enough shop they will know of someone who does that kind of work.

The peanut butter trick works - you can actually use peanut oil too or any oil for that matter. It works by making the scratch shiny which blends with the rest of the plastic. It doesn't actually get rid of the scratch, it just makes it not as noticeable. I have used this many times on my cars.
