Default Red Corvette correction with an unusual mod...

Here's a 1 step correction on this 2005 Corvette I did recently. This is a 1 step correction to remove about 50-60% of the swirls and slight scratches. Owner of this car did an uncommon mod to it, and whether you love it or hate it....it made my job a LOT easier!

Here's the pics!

After correction and before sealant

Well here it is! Lambo style doors. Like I said, love them or hate them, it made my job much easier. Getting in and out of the car, moving around it, and cleaning the bottom of the door and the jamb was so much easier. Also allowed me to get to sections normally unreachable.

Finished pics. Sun had already set, so I just have pics in the garage. Bra was reinstalled for the owner.

Perfectly clean, thanks to excellent access provided by those hinges

Thanks for checkin it out!

Uh....I hate it when people put lambo doors on cars other than Lamborghinis!! BTW you did an excellent job with the finish!

I don't mind Lambo doors but what kills me with em is the "tuner" guys. All the ones I've seen were on 4 cylinders with big/gaudy body kits, over sized wheels for the car, horrendous paint, aluminum spoiler plus the Lambo doors. It's like they were trying to do as and change as much as possible I guess to say they have all this cause the stuff sure as hell don't look good. With this Vette, I like the doors cause it's not like a Honda and they've tried to keep it like a Lambo, clean and simple. Great work on the car also OP.

Looks great, HUGE improvement

Lambo doors are a bit much, but really don't look that bad on that car....as mentioned above, when everything else is clean it works much better.

Best Lambo kit I've ever seen, but not my cup of tea. Looks great after your work. Congrats!

I hate lambo doors with a passion, but for some reason, they don't look all that bad on that car. But beyond excellent correction, as always.

I think the doors actually look good. Do the mirrors come black from the factory? I thought they were all body colored. Nice detail

I thought you were talking about the Nasty BRA and sideview mirrior BRA's when you said unusual mod. Then I saw the Lambo doors. Those BRA's need to go! The owner must be like 50?

Looks great as usual. I actually like Lambo doors on Vettes. The bra on the other hand no.

You said it was a 1 step correction that removed 50-60% of the flaws. The finished pics look good but I assume there are still some flaws still there that could have been taken out?

My car doesn't look quite that bad but close. Can you list what products/procedures you used on it?

Thanks man. Always look forward to seeing your work.

Yes, there were still swirls and a lot of RIDS remaining. The car could have benefited from a 2 or 3 step correction, but the owner only wanted one stage....he'd never had this level of detailing before. With the removal he decided on, he came out very happy. When I did MUCH more work on his 62, he was flabbergasted on how it could look better than his 05, but it sure did. It was fun showing him the difference.

Washed with the 2 bucket method and grit guards, clayed with Zaino claybar, correction with PCXP and LC orange with Menzerna SIP. LSP was Blackfire Wet Diamond.

Thanks!

Damn, those lambo doors look really good on that Vette, would not look good at all on a Camaro. Allright I let the dude slide w/ the bumper bra, but mirror bras? Sick *** job on the work though dude.

The bras ruin the look of the car entirely. No matter how nice the rest of it is, they make it look terrible.

Looks sweet. I don't get why people are so bothered by lambo doors, you don't notice them when the car is moving!

I'm surprised the owner doesn't have a clear bra

What's the point of protecting the bumper from rock chips, if your never going to see the bumper? And bras are horrible on a cars paint.

Agreed.

I would take small hardly noticeable rock chips over a huge can be seen from miles pile of ugly strapped to the car grinding sand into my paint.
