Default I could use a little help...

So my headlights on my 95 T/A have never really given me a problem they stick now and then but most the time they work fine. So today when i walked outside I noticed one headlight was still upright so i went turned switched popped them both up and when i turned switch again my left light goes down and stays down like it should but the right goes down and pops back up. I tried disconnecting the motor to the light and replugging it in but still occurs.. Previous owner changed nylon to brass on headlights but any suggestions would be a huge help. Thanks

Check the gears AGAIN.
Just because someone swapped them at one time, doesn't mean there can't be a problem there again.
I wouldn't suspect anything but the gears.
Okay, maybe the module, but I doubt it, ...
