WTF are you talking about? LS1's came in the Corvette, Camaro Z28, Camaro SS, Firebird Formula, Firebird Trans AM, and Firebird Trans AM WS6... Not to mention that iron versions of the same design are in nearly all light to medium duty GM trucks on the market now. The different Pontiac motor was cut for cost savings, not because one looks uglier than the other. Comparing an engine to an appearance mod was a horrible choice of words.

If you wanna get technical, they were in Camaros before Corvettes. To test the C5 powertrain in the wild during powertrain development, they put them in Camaros:

An interesting aspect of the engine program was the "Cormaro". In the first six months of 1995, twenty C5 structure/chassis/powertrain combinations were fitted with modified ’95 Camaro bodyshells. These cars were used well into 1996 for powertrain development and were a perfect way to put street miles on the LS1 without drawing attention...at least until ace spyshooter, Jim Dunne, published a picture of a Cormaro in AutoWeek magazine and identified the car as a Gen III V8 "test mule."
So, get your own damn engine Corvette ownerz! No but srsly lol JK nahbuhforealzdawg.

Yea I didn't think about a ws6 hood on a camaro because the ultra z hood looks like one to begin with. Mabye you could take the T/A with the ss and fill in the two holes/nostrils under the hood it might look better but idk

I definitely wouldn't do it to my car.

The last photo doesn't look too bad I think I like it, and the camaro would look better I think with a firehawk hood. Both of which I think wouldn't look half bad. Screw all you purist I like seeing differant things lol!
