Lexol leather conditioner.. it can be had at Advance Auto normally.. should be in a brown spray bottle.. the Lexol leather cleaner is in the orange bottle. Get both for best results.

Zaino, leathertique and leathermasters are some of the very best IMO. After trying nearly everything worth the time to try, those 3 are the only ones that get my recommendation.

Hide Food, contains animal fats, available from Jaguar/Aston Martin/Rolls Royce dealerships. It's a cream, about $20 for 250ml, use sparingly.

Do you need to spray AND condition the leather for better results or is conditioning fine by itself?

That's what I use and I love it. I have a white steering wheel wrap and it gets pretty dirty after a few weeks. It'll clean it up good as new. I've only been using it about 6 months so I couldn't tell you the impact it has on seat longevity.

I would clean with a diluted All Purpose Cleaner (APC)or even diluted dawn dish washing soap. 6 or 8 to 1 depending on how dirty the seats are. Use a medium to firm brush to agitate so you can work the soap into the seat. This process will extract the grease/dirt that has built up over time. Be sure to wipe with a damp cloth after to remove the soap. The look of the seats should almost be a flat to dull look when cleaned. After this step I would massage the zaino leather in a bottle. It does have an amazing scent.

There are also leather cleaner/conditioner kits out there to purchase but I have found the process I explained satisfied me when I had the "leather" seats in my camaro.

So it's a 2 in 1 (cleaning/conditioning) bottle?

Don't expect much from anything that is a 2 in 1 product. Just a general realization I have concluded with almost anything.

Example: Does a 2 in 1 wash and wax yield the best results? Most people might be content, but for the optimum results use single stage products for each step. Cleaning product to clean, conditioner to condition, sealant to seal, etc.

Yea, very true. I might just do Lexol cleaning and conditioning then, heard it's really good.

Lets look at this question from another angle....

Would you put lotion on your hands instead of washing them throughout the day? What would the consequences be?

I was looking at that perspective as well, for example if you wash your hair, you condition after (well for girls).

I'm going with Lexol, copping this weekend and also doing a FULL detail, can't wait.
