Best Way to Clean Engine Bay?
I saw a post earlier talking about cleaning an engine bay, with no motor. I know how to do that, and have done that with simple green, which works great.
My question is how to do this with the engine in? I dont want to damage anything...Is there a special process? I believe the engine needs a powerwashing! What do you put on, after the cleaning to make it look shiny, with out collecting dirt?

Here's a link posted not too long ago. I'm gonna give it a shot, but wait till probably like April. The roads should be salt free by then. Thats when the rims will go back on too.

Hey, thanks for the info! It has been raining for like 2 days here in chicago, and I think the roads are salt free! Yeah! Do you guys drive your cars in the rain? I find that most of the engine grime comes from this...

Yeah... I have to since it is my only car Alot of my dirt and grim comes from my fans almost always being on! I have them set low since there is alot of stop and go traffic where I live. I usually wash it off about every 2-3 weeks
