Am I seeing this correctly? Is the bottom half of the spoiler and two posts painted black

Im talking about mark3.4v6's picture not the op. I understand whats going on there. Im also curious how far it is painted under the spoiler on the hatch.

Ya, I knew not everyone would like it, I'm just trying to find something different that doesn't look like horse **** but also makes the car stand out. The way I see it, there's always someone who will have a bad opinion about anything you do to a car. I've had people tell me that they thought my "black" panel (berger) looks gay.. whatever as long as I enjoy the car that's all that matters to me, but I appreciate the criticism none-the-less. **** like this just gets the gears turning sometimes.

See IMO it would only look decent with an SS spoiler. Doing it to a normal Z back end wouldn't be worth it and maybe not as noticeable.

Looks like you weren't the first to do something like that:

I think its sexy, but you need an SS spoiler to pull it off. I would do it to my red z but it would look pretty dumb with anything but a SS spoiler IMO.

IMO the red one would look better if you did the side pieces of the wing too. I think it would look more uniform and flow better. Just my 2 cents.
