Need to change the SS I have a black SS. I want to change the appearance a little. I have ordered a billet grill but I want to add a hockey stripe and paint the manta SOM. You guys think that's too contrasting, anyone have a picture of one done like that already.

I wouldn't do a SOM manta that's for sure imo, if you do a manta, go silver. I really don't think hockey stripes look good in black camaro's. Get stainless steel inserts, vht your turn signals/markers and tails, I hope you have tints......game over. If you want to add more, paint your calipers black w/ chrome decal and silver brackets. Keep it clean and simple. Nothing is hotter then a black SS w/ chrome.
You know, come to think of it - I've never seen SOM on black before... might look good if done right. Just the manta wouldn't look too obnoxious. I say do it - just to see what it looks like.

Keep it simple. I'd put a sunoco hood on... Flat black sunoco stripes...Flat black Berger panel... Remove side molding... Slam the bitch, deep dish wheels... Or any type of baller wheels... SLP ss grille.... Done...

Yeah I am more confused than ever now. Do like the idea of flat black stripes. Think I am going to paint the brake calipers red, paint the area infront of the manta flat black along with flat hockey stripes. The car already has black halos with black turn signals and it's lowered two inches front and back.

I was gonna say SLP SS grille but don't if you already bought the billet. If you do any stripes/manta, flat black would look boss, red calipers would look good on yours since you have the red ouline in the SS emblems, black brackets and chrome decal and HIDs if you don't already have.
