That was actually the point that got me to switch to the formula bumper. im not bashing. Id have to see it. Im just saying, its really iffy. I feel the formula is more proportional for this modification.
For the Heritage car, GM started with a Formula to better match the lines of the '71 TA with less pronounced curves and a hard top. One difference here is the Heritage spoiler is taller and more squared than the Freedom Designs model and that changes the lines and angles quite a bit.

Beautiful workmanship on your spoiler.

What colors are you going with?
Going with a medium sized metallic flake corvette yellow paint job. With all black birds and trans am decal lettering. Red rear window sticker, red brake calipers. And red wire loom everywhere under the hood, along with my red and black Corvette fuel rail covers. Leaving interior ebony. Doing suede covering on the seats, red stitching. With the bird embroidered in seats and floor mats. Prolly red suede in the doors too. Red carpet. I already have the vents painted red, along with speaker covers, and a "Trans am" lettering decal siliconed just above the glove box.

1) Replace hood with a firehawk hood
2) Replace those autozone tips with anything else
3) Needs trans am vinyl on the spoiler
4) Paint over the firebird logo to match the exterior color to match the heritage ta rear
5) firebird/formula front end since u removed everything else, so it'll match
6) needs a real photo op with decent models & their *** prints on hood, and as always if they dont got **** then they are fired

other than that ur on the right track

p.s. not hating cuz its definitely different, but those tips gots to go.
Pending a deal to swap my WS6 for a firehawk hood! Local. Couldnt get luckier. The tips will be coming off, but not really soon. A Vinyl will be placed on the spoiler after paint. Check out my idea to modify the TA front bumper on page 1 of this thread. And u supply the girls, and ill bring the camera! ;P

NICE!

Reminds me of a Gen 2, but the front no longer matches the rear imo.

Re the bumper mod, have you had success mixing poly with fiberglass? One is flex
ible, the other no so much. I am concerned about how that would work with road vibration and stress.

Have you shown at the FBody Gathering in Atlanta before? I would like to see your car in person there next Memorial Day weekend.

He is right, after a little while you will probably see cracks. I have joined the two but it was only temporary for making a plug for molding. I don't think it would hold up for long. You also have to think about climate & changes in weather, different materials respond differently to being exposed to different temps.

Well i was concerned with that at first, but the amount of gap i have to replace, i dont see a problem arising. Its about 2-3" by one foot. So i think it will hold up okay.

I have never been but would love to. Although i feel my car still has a long way to go before i go whoring her around. Lol i go to every meeting at ROD RUN in pigeon forge TN. I will b there this fall. Sept. 15-19.

The Gathering gets everything from cars in primer to trailer queens, mine have always been somewhere in between. The show is not about 6' trophies, it is like a family reunion for folks you would like. Bring it on...

I love what you did. It's not something I would personally do, but I love the look. I think you're making a good move getting a Firehawk hood. The WS6 front is way too angular and edgy for how the rest of the car looks. The Firehawk front end will help smooth it out and blend it to the rest of the car.
