Yeah, thats my understanding, but they get real pissy about the sides. The inspection stations have been cracked down on this year for violations. They used to never check or even charge for either of mine, but I paid both times this year. I've even got papers showing what the tint and percentage is.

 

Got mine done! Its 35% but on certain angles it looks DARK. I like how it turned out tho. Here are 2 pics:

 

My windows will be tinted in a week or two. Can't wait!

I did 15% sides and back and I'm glad I didn't do 5%, it would be impossible to back my car up some of the places I go.

I'm thinking about tinting the windshield in 50%, but I don't know if I can find anyone around here to do it

turnin20s just tell them its a race car lol and its not gonna be on the street ,my tinter told me tinting the front windsheild is really common these days
