Custom USMC taillight filler panel
I'll be working on it today so update pics will come. So far I have sanded the bird/wording off, several coats of VHT, and more sanding. I'll be applying several more coats of VHT and then sanding smooth so the vinyl will appear painted on (like graphics on a motorcycle tank) followed by matte clear to match my taillights

Almost done - matte clear applied last night, I also blocked my 'new' taillights and cleared them so everything will match. I'm leaving them out in the 104deg heat to 'bake' today and will take pics of everything this afternoon
angled shot to show matte clear and how flush the vinyl is with the VHT

Finished... for now I think
For some odd reason, despite being prepped and sprayed the same way, at the same time, the center piece came out with a bit more gloss than the tails... I think a few washes and a few days in the sun, they'll even out.
Also, before anyone suggests otherwise, I purposely used a matte/satin clear. I want little to no shine, just to be different

...pics on the car with my custom harness *maybe* tomorrow
