Looks good man. I just got a good deal on a used set of CR1's myself. Looking forward to getting them in. Good to know that you can order replacement fabric too. Mine look new, but it's handy just in case I decide to change colors or something

Updating this thread, I went black and grey microsuede (grey cloth was on 8 week backorder...WTF) and had a professional custom upholstery shop install the covers (which came with velcro to stick on top of the old covers, and fit like ****, BTW), make custom foam lower back bolsters, and repair the various things wrong with the drivers seat.

Looks good man. How hard was it to install the seats? Were they bolt-in?

Seats are looking good man. I want the same ones for my ride...same color and everything.

I would go with black btw. Looks better than anything else on a pewter car hands down. Red, blue ect are too bright for pewter.

Yup, bolt in! The bracket positioning makes it so you need to use a gear wrench and the tips of your finger (or somebodies really small hands and hope that they can get enough torque on it) though for the rear two nuts.

My advice is this:
Buy them new or gently used, IN THE COLOR YOU WANT. The replacement covers that Corbeau sells are bullshit velcro-on things (not actual "factory" replacement covers) which are a PITA to DIY install and have very poor fitment if you do (hence the reason I had an upholstery shop do the install).

Cool, Ive been eyeballing the black microsuede CR1s. Unfortunately, they have to wait in line with all the other stuff I have planned for the car.

Yeah, it's hard to justify the cost of seats when the rest of your car needs to be built. I did notice after the install that my car felt like it handled better simply because I wasn't sliding around any more, haha.

Thanks! Couldn't have done it without the help of my F-body friends and the forums.

Looks great. I sat in all the diff corbeau models at a local dealer and picked up a set of LG1s. The CR1s were a close second. Supportive but also pretty comfortable. Mine are at the upholstery shop getting recovered. During the test fit, I know what you mean regarding access to the two back nuts.
