The only problem i see is the fact that you care so much about what ppl think about YOUR car on this site. If making other ppl happy instead of yourself is what you want, then that's cool but your screwing up from the get go. I only say this because of your comment "see how it jives on this site". I may be wrong but thats how it comes off to me...
Ive had the GS stripes on my LE, had sideflags on it as well....ive removed them because i got tired of them after awhile but i really didnt give a crap what anyone on here or locally thought when i had them on.

however, my point was, since i have respect for the opinions on this forum, I'd seek some insight from those who see them everyday or not.
It's a real tossup for me, hence why I started the thread. I felt like I was gonna be flamed for having them since I read alot of negative feedback from misc threads in the past. Idk I guess I'm jus weird like that

I used to live in fbody heaven, mcallen texas, and they were serious about the camaros lol i'd be shot if i wore grand sport stripes and be mugged if I had z06 chrome wheels (not painted)

Just pick up a can of plastidip and try them. It's 2 straight bars...not exactly hard to tape off. If you don't like them you can peel the stuff off. If you do you can either leave them and see if you like the look or get tired of it or just peel and have them done in vinyl.
I'm assuming you were going to do black to match the roof...other colors will look bad IMO.

hmm ok talk you out of it. I always wanted GS stripes on my car. One day i bought them , put them on, took a step back, looked at them, then pulled them off. sometimes you need to do things to realize its wrong

If thats where u paint the "whiskers" on the hood scoop different color.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! looks tacky on this year of car IMO. that is meant for late 2nd gen Z28s

I prefer hockey stripes on Camaros, but a lot color/wheel combos look AMAZING with GS stripes. In the end do what YOU think looks good. Some will like, some will hate. If YOU like it everytime you take a peep into the garage or walk away/to it a parking lot, that's what matters.
