Finally got the first pic up via blackberry lol. You'll see the spot I mentioned earlier. It looks worse in this pic because it had some film on it. Soap water residue perhaps. After I wiped the hood down it looked very minimal. Should be gone after sanding the gelcoat down. More to come...

That's what I got for now. You'll notice in the 2nd pic the blemish isn't visible after having wiped the hood down. I had my doubts after having ordered the hood because of a few delays but reasoned that because it was the first one there would be setbacks and delays getting back into the swing of things. They did right by me though and comped me a good chunk of my shipping in light of the production and shipping delays I experienced. They're throwing in a lil something extra for me too I'll post more about that though later once its under way.

Lol Chevelle's a good cat, he was just wondering wth this thing was. His claws are trimmed very short, didn't so much as put a scuff on the gelcoat. I agree that these hoods are the best hoods for these cars. I had wanted one when they originally came out but didn't have the funds for it then I came to find that they weren't being made anymore. When Roger started back up I couldn't pass it up. Yea it was risky but it worked out well for me. I'm so excited to have this thing and can't wait to get it on and painted.

I dont have a scale to weigh it unfortunately. I did get my Suncoast Creations WS6 hood off today and judging by weight, the Superhawk hood is lighter. Not by a whole lot but definitely noticeable. I've got the hood catch bolted up and i've modified my latch to where it'll clear (hopefully). Gonna have some help tomorrow to get the hood mounted and i'll try my best to get some rough adjustments done. Hopefully I'll have some mounted Pics by tomorrow

The hard part has yet to come. I decided not long ago to build a scale model of my car with all of the mods i have and will have done to it. I've gotten a few pieces together but I'm Not sure how i'm going to handle building a scale superhawk hood. I'm barely figuring out how I'm going to be building my own scale model TT kit for it.

Give me a heads up when yours goes up for sale so i can get some money together.

If you have a price within 50$ or so of what you would sell it for when you're ready, shoot me a pm.
