I held out for this hood for 5 years and would not compremise until I got an original Superhawk hood, but after contacting Joe with questions, no way, wouldn't send them a ******* dime. I wasted too much time trying to get answers to simple questions about the hood. Have to ask questions 3-4 times and he would only be "selective" with which questions he answered, or give responses that had nothing to do with the questions I would asked. Not to mention horrible response time with e-mails. Absolute joke.
Roger does make the best hood for birds though

Well that is a very nice hood, but what is the difference between this and a raptor hood? I wasnt around during the first run... And is there any under shots? I have the suncoast hood and intake so I need a ram air like on the raptor hood where its on the top instead of front

He answered all of my questions and was very straight forward on the wait time and how they handle shipping.

Communication was a bit of a hassle when i got mine as well but like stated before this isn't Joe's primary job. Just helps on the side. There were a few times i interrupted him from his job so that he could answer some of my questions while i was in the waiting process. Roger understandably seemed to be quite busy as well. Sounded like they had some new Viper stuff in the works. If you're serious about the hood just go into it with some patience.

Ya pretty easy...
Just look at the two side by side
Raptor - Smaller Main Air inlets, and no heat extractor. More low profile similar to the OEM Firehawk Hood;

Superhawk Hood - Bigger Air Inlet, OEM Firehawk Styled Heat Extractors, and a taller profile...

I ordered mine a couple weeks ago, it took about a week to get a hold of Roger. I was about to give up and buy from someone else, but he got back with me. As far as answering questions and stuff, I didn't have any problems with that. He sent me one email a day, sometime around evening, and answered all of my questions.
I can't wait to get mine in, but I'm also being patient because I know it takes some time to make these hoods. I would rather him take his time making them, rather than rushing through it and messing something up. I'm not driving the car much anyway since winter is approaching and the weather is turning to crap.
If you serious about getting one these hood expect to wait at least a month to get it if not longer, give the guy some time to make it and do it right
He did send me a text message about a week ago saying his computer got fried? So if anyone wasn't able to get a hold of him through email, that's probably why. And I thought it was damn decent of him to send me a text to let me know that his computer was down even though I didn't talk to him for a few days before that

Picked up my U.S exotic Super-hawk hood today! Crappy pics cause the car is shoved in the corner of friends garage for the winter. It doesn't have rear-end in the the car so we couldn't move the car to get better pics.

The corner on one side got damaged but nothing a little fiberglass can't fix. Will get painted once winter is over and the snow melts. The black gel coat actually matches pretty decent, it will do for now.

Looks great, can I get a pic of how the heat extractor is finished if the screen matches the main inlet or not?
