Looks great, can I get a pic of how the heat extractor is finished if the screen matches the main inlet or not?
The grills were both already installed on the heat extractors and the the front scoops. They are both the same design. The car is an hour way from me soo, i will have to ask my buddy to take some pics.

About how big is the height in the back?
I can tell you its bigger than a WS6 hood, but i didn't sit in the car. Maybe I can have my buddy sit in the car snap a couple of pics.

Sure.. the first few pics the hood wasn't bolted down. It was just laying on the car. I bolted it on today and I have to do very little adjusting to get the lines lined up.

Good luck with those plates, there not mine and I simply had the hood laying on the car. It wasn't bolted down in the first few pics. The only pic it was bolted on was the day time pic

Looks good, my car is black so it kinda already matched. Wish i could move my car to take some pics but its stationary for the next three months.

Was your hood damaged in the top corners at all? On the passenger side mine was chipped. It will have to be re-glassed and touched up to make it look good again.

Joe sent me a text saying that I wasn't the only to recieve a hood with damage in this area and that he thinks someone did it on purpose.

The crappy thing is the package looked perfect no rips, or signs of damage when i picked it up. When I cut all the plastic off thats when we found the damage. The terminal wont do anything unless you make the claim before you sign for it.

Yes my hood was damaged too. I looked the packing over really well before I signed for it, and like you said it looked great! Got it home and started unwrapping it and found out that both corners were busted. I emailed Roger about it and showed him some pics of it, and he was pissed! Just like you said he told me I wasn't the only one this had happened to, and that he would get to the bottom of it.

My passenger corner doesn't look to bad, it looks to be a easy fix. The drivers corner is a different story. It was slammed so hard that it actually buckled the corner up. Nice crack all the way through it. I went and had some body shops look at it and they told me it was junk. That it would cost more to fix it than for me t.o just buy a new one.

On a side not though, one of the shops I had look at it told me it was one of the best hoods they had seen in awhile. They asked me if I did any adjusting to it, and I said no I haven't had time to mess with it that I just bolted it on there. They were in awe over it lol.

Anybody know if Roger is making the original Superhawk hood? It was very close to the Firehawk hood but followed the contours of the stock front bumper cover without trimming.

The bigger-scooped Superhawk hood is cool, but I like the more subtle look of the older version myself.

There is a "Raptor" style hood that you can get. Taller than the firehawk but smaller than the superhawk

Yea, but the Raptor doesn't have the heat extractors and the front where it meets the bumper is different.

So after reading this thread I am understanding that this hood leaves a gap on formula firebirds? Can someone let give me rogers contact info either way I am still interested in this hood.

No, this hood fits fine on a stock Firebird, Formula or Trans Am.

A genuine Firehawk hood required the bumper to be trimmed, so if you have a Firehawk and want this hood, it will have a gap.

I'd really like his number as well. The superhawk hood has been my favorite hood for these cars for years, I'd like to get one in a few months.

Unfortunately the transmission takes priority at the moment.
