CAMARO rear fill letters...different variations...which one to choose?

So I'm trying to decide which color to get for the rear fill letters. Car is a red SS with the stock black with silver SS badges, I painted the bowtie black with silver edges. Black berger out of the question! Looks good but not what I want.
Should I get solid black letter or black with silver border? I like the look of that and it would match the SS and bowtie but maybe matching too much!? I like the "Pontiac" colors below, just obviously in the "Camaro" config.
Any pics out there of custom ideas?

id go completely opposite and get some custom colored SS badges(figure out some sick color scheme that matches your red car), brushed stainless always look sick but throw some color in there(even though red is a hard one, maybe a tad of white would flow well) and then get matching CAMARO inserts...like i stripped all the black badges off my car and went orange/black/brushed stainless, with orange mirror inserts heres a few pics, I also went with 2nd Gen badges, cause when I did them I wasn't seeing that many on here, I decided to do a 2nd gen tribute for my car.

Emblempros are thick too I believe to fit flush.
Whitenrude I like your idea and badges look sweet. I'm going with the black and red theme so I don't want much variation. The only difference is that I like the white border on black stripes on a red car like the mini coopers. But I also want to minimize costs and variation to original design.
